Last Friday was the day: Companies in Oranienburg, Velten and Hennigsdorf opened their doors during the “Long Night of Business” and membraPure was there.
The event kicked off with a tour of representatives from local universities and public institutions. This provided an insight into our daily work and answered the key question of interested parties “What about potential collaborations?”
Of course, we are always interested in collaborations, which we have done in the past and are currently doing. We are happy to supervise bachelor or master theses. Working students and interns are just as welcome at our company. Incidental tasks are mainly in the area of development, especially in construction, software and hardware development.
Afterwards, all other interested parties were able to learn more about our company at various stations and gain insight into our work.
Each tour started first with a general presentation of our company, followed by a tour of our company hall.
At so-called “hands-on stations”, visitors could first learn more about our individual products. For example, how such a water purification plant works, where it is used and why.
In practice, visitors were then able to fill water for their iron.
The tour continued with our TOC analyzer miniTOC, where it was clearly explained where and what it is needed for.
Visitors were able to see live how a “contaminated sample” was fed into the monitoring system and how this was then reflected in the measurement curve.
In the last station, the visitors were introduced to amino acid analysis and, as a reminder, they were able to make their own handprint visible in color in the laboratory, in the spirit of CSI.
At the end of the tour we had a bratwurst and a drink.
With 55 visitors and many interesting conversations, we are already looking forward to the next event with confidence. We thank all visitors and of course the organizer for the organization.
