With beginning of 2022 membraPure GmbH has acquired a 51% stake in Hartmann GmbH. With this participation, a company group with two, still legally independent GmbHs, was formed. The two companies will share their service and sales network in Germany as well as sales offices in the most important regions of the world will be created. The complementary products create a complete portfolio of water treatment products from deionized to ultra pure water with associated analyzers (TOC and IC) and service (customer service and validation), which thus offers a clear USP.
In addition, Hartmann’s medical division remains a major business division, bridging the gap to water treatment in the medical sector. The alliance allows synergies (e.g. shorter distances, economies of scale) to be realized in almost all areas and will thus be able to serve customers even more comprehensively and efficiently.
Water Purification systems by Hartmann are based on RO and EDI technology. They are designed for production rates between 50 and 500 L/h out of softened or potable water. The product water quality has a conductivity below 15 µS/cm for RO and below 1 µS/cm for EDI systems.
