At the beginning of February, there was an article here about our intern Aaron Wenk. In the meantime, a lot of time has passed and he and his teammates made it to the German Championships in the lightweight double four, which took place in Essen at the end of June.
He has also qualified for the German national team and will compete in the U23 category in Racice from 7 to 11 July. Until then, it’s still a lot of training. Of course, there is no time for practical training with us when he is on the water twice a day. “They grow up so fast!”. We keep our fingers crossed.
Anfang Februar gab es hier einen Beitrag über unseren Praktikanten Aaron Wenk. Mittlerweile ist viel Zeit vergangen und er hat es mit seinen Teamkollegen geschafft die Deutsche Meisterschaft im leichten Doppelvierer, die Ende Juni in Essen stattgefunden hat zu gewinnen.
Außerdem hat er sich für die deutsche Nationalmannschaft qualifiziert und wird in der Zeit vom 7. bis zum 11. Juli in der Kategory U23 in Racice an den Start gehen.
Bis dahin heißt es weiterhin viel trainineren. Da ist natürlich keine Zeit mehr für Praktikum bei uns, wenn es zweimal täglich aufs Wasser geht.
